No, BiOWiSH® microorganisms are facultative. They can work efficiently under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions.
For lake/pond bioremediation: Having aerators or fountains in the lake/pond will help but is not an essential requirement.
For WWTPs (ETP & STP) application: It is ideal to have Bioreactor Dissolved oxygen in the range 1.5 – 2.5ppm.
